Bodh Gaya, the land of enlightment of Buddha is one of the most coveted destinations among the Buddhists. The place boasts of beautifully architectured monasteries, and is home to the famous Mahabodhi Temple. Interestingly, the descendant of the Bodhi tree still exists in the temple and is visited by lakhs of tourists.  Every year in the month of January, Kalchakra Puja, a significant festival among the Buddhists is organised in Bodh Gaya and is celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy.
