Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival at Bodhgaya

Reach Gaya Airport. Meet and greet our representative. Check-in to the hotel at Bodh Gaya. Visit Mahabodhi Temple and monasteries of various countries like Thailand, Cambodia, Tibet, Bhutan, Burma and Japan, all located in proximity to the main temple. Also, see the 80 ft- Buddha statue. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

 

Day 02: Drive to Gurpa | Bodhgaya Sightseeing

Early morning after breakfast, visit Gurpa which is 33 km drive from Bodhgaya. Gurpa is believed to be the place where future Buddha will appear in this world. On the way back to Bodhgaya, visit Sujata Stupa and Dungeshwari Cave. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Rajgir Sightseeing

Early morning after breakfast, leave for Rajgir (70 km) through the picturesque Jethian-Gehlaur valley road (the village shown in the movie Dasrath Manjhi – the Mountain Man). Visit Vishwa Shanti Stupa by taking a ropeway ride and enjoy a panaromic view of the valley. A popular song from the movie Johny Mera Naam was also shot here. Also, visit Griddhakuta Peak, Maniyar Math and Venu Van. Enjoy a tonga ride to Ghorakatora Lake, enjoy boating with a picturesque view of the Rajgir hills and the beautiful Buddha statue. Check-in to the hotel in Rajgir. Overnight stay in Rajgir.

 

Day 04: Nalanda-Pawapuri-Patna

Early morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel. Visit Bimbisar Jail, Venu Van, Battleground of Jarasandh and Veerayatan. Later, proceed to explore Nalanda University, Hiuen Tsang Memorial, Kundalpur Jain Temple and Pawapuri. Get a transfer to Patna (95 km). On arrival in Patna, check-in to the hotel in Patna.

Day 05: City Tour of Patna

Early morning after breakfast, do a city tour of Patna. Visit Golghar, Sabhyata Dwar, Gandhi Maidan, River Ghat, Buddha Smriti Park and Bihar Museum. Return to the hotel and relax. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Patna.

Day 06: Vaishali-Kushinagar

Early morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Vaishali (70 km). At Vaishali, visit the Vishwa Shanti Stupa, Birthplace of Lord Mahavir, Buddha Relic Stupa and Hariharnath Temple. Drive to Kushinagar (150 km from Vaishali). Enjoy sightseeing around Kushinagar. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kushinagar.

Day 07: Lumbini

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Lumbini (104 km from Kushinagar), the birthplace of Lord Buddha and one the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites. Visit the birthplace of Lord Buddha. Later, check-in to the hotel in Lumbini. Overnight stay in Lumbini.

Day 08: Sarnath

Early morning after breakfast, proceed to Sarnath which is approximately 240 km from Lumbini. Visit the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon. Overnight stay at the hotel in Varanasi

Day 09: Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Proceed to the Varanasi Airport. This tour comes to an end.
